The location was absolutely perfect for accessing the
buses to Machu Picchu and close to restaurants. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making our stay more enjoyable. However, the noise levels from other guests at night can be disruptive, as well as the breakfast layout that kept some items cold.

i almost wrote a glowing review until i realized this hotel had no elevator, so carrying my things up was just delightful after hiking! add to that, the cold showers were just what i wanted on my stay. and where was my complimentary upgrade? surely, with all that money i spent, i deserved a little extra, right?

Incredible views, lovely stay
The breakfast spread was delightful! Fresh omelets, local fruits, and cheerful staff made mornings special. Plus, the cozy rooms with stunning views were a real treat.
However, the stairs were quite a workout after a long day of hiking! If you're not used to altitude, it might feel a bit challenging.

This was just a reliable pick for a short weekend trip in Machu Picchu with great value for money. They packed us a nice breakfast for our early morning trek, which was a pleasant surprise. Don't forget to wear good shoes for all the stairs around the hotel!

The excellent location makes it easy to explore the nearby plaza, and the stunning views of the city and mountains enhance the charm. Staff were always friendly and helpful, ensuring a welcome atmosphere. However, the hotel suffers from poor soundproofing that disrupts sleep, and the breakfast buffet could use better equipment to keep food hot. For a memorable stay with quirky character, this hotel delivers but has its drawbacks.

Great spot right by the main square with convenient access to everything. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Peru with a delightful variety of dishes and made-to-order eggs 🍳. An amazing stay overall.
The dog roaming the hotel disrupted our sleep on two nights. It would be better if there was someone available to handle such disturbances.

Gringo Bill'S Boutique was a fantastic choice during my work visit to Machu Picchu. The staff were exceptionally attentive, meeting me at the train station and guiding me to the hotel, which was just a short walk away. The room was clean and featured beautiful French doors, with a modern bathroom and a hot shower, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The breakfast buffet was impressively generous, offering a variety of options including a made-to-order egg station. There's also a bar with a nice guest discount and complementary chips and salsa. Overall, it was a comfortable experience with helpful staff.
The walls are thin, leading to some noise disturbances at night.

Couple should try this out
The man at the check-in desk was extremely helpful. He immediately called my tour guide for me, and I appreciated that he remembered to do so. The property is unique, very cute, and the breakfast area is nice too
It wasn't exactly affordable, but I found it acceptable considering everything else.
